A question on tipping the food delivery driver.?

Zippys ( chicagoland area) charges a $3.50 delivery fee. I asked the cashier if the driver gets that money or the store and she told me that the driver gets that money. If the driver is making $3.50 off of the delivery do I still need to tip them? Our total is $12.14 not including the two free cheese fries that they forgot on our last order. We live about 2.5 miles round trip.A question on tipping the food delivery driver.?
yes, it would be courteous to tip the driver.A question on tipping the food delivery driver.?
i tip 5 bux to any delivery person... a flat fee
The $3.50 probably goes for gasoline and upkeep on his car. A tip would be appropriate, but not if they forget to bring you half of your order...A question on tipping the food delivery driver.?
well, you dont exactly have to tip them like 20$ or anything like that. but, maybe 3 bucks or something like that. For the troulble. we usally tip the pizza dude 5$ or something like that
The 3.50 is probably to pay for gas and upkeep of his car that he uses for delivery. That's fair.

I believe it's always nice to tip. It'll usually give the driver an incentive to come to your house first on the list... instead of being last! Give a good tip and they'll remember you.

I figure, if I'm too lazy to get my butt over to the restaurant myself, I might as well tip the guy that has to bring it to me. No matter what the price is.

I usually tip 5 bucks or more - depending on how much cash I have to give and how far they have to drive.

And now... my pizza arrives hot and within at least a 1/2 hour of my ordering it.A question on tipping the food delivery driver.?
A couple of bucks tip is fine. The fee goes to actually paying him since he most likely does not get a large salary (if any at all, the fee may be his salary).
I dont think females should tip at anytime...
