i thinking about starting a food delivery service for those restaurant that doesnt do delivery. what is the best fee i should charge the customer?$5,$6,or $10? would you use this service?Offering food delivery service?
I would start at $5 and build a base of customers. Once that is done you can work the price up from there. If you really start taking off maybe start raising the price by 50 cents every year, if one year you see that the price hike is having a negative effect on your business you can bring it back down 50 cents. At this point you will know that you have leveled out. I would keep it there until a major change in the gas market or rate of inflation occurs. This is alot more effective and less awkward than starting real high and having to bring your price way down. When you're first starting out you want to be able to woo your customers with cheaper prices.Offering food delivery service?
the price you fixed must take into consideration on the weight, volume of food, the distance. i think u should negotiate with the restaurant, case by case.
i think its a good idea.
