How much are you supposed to tip the delivery man for food?

I usually only tip around three dollars. The driver is already getting paid to deliver your food and the three dollars adds to his hourly wage. If he is making ten dollars an hour, your tip brought his wage for that hour to thirteen dollars. And that doesn't include the other deliveries he makes in that same hour. At Christmas I'll; tip a lot more (five to ten dollars) a couple of times because, after all, he is only a delivery driver and I am sure they are not wealthy and could use a few extra bucks at Christmas. But if you order food often, a larger tip almost guarantees you will be his first stop with the hot food. No tip or poor tip? When you finally get your food it will probably need to be reheated. How much are you supposed to tip the delivery man for food?
Think of him as a long distance waiter and tip him 15% of the bill before taxes and coupons. His boss should be paying his gas, so the tip is just for his service. How much are you supposed to tip the delivery man for food?
If you are a man, 15%. If you are a woman, a happy ending.
depends on how much you can give. good gesture thoughHow much are you supposed to tip the delivery man for food?
10% of the order. So on a $40 order you'd give him $4.

Nothing! Tips are a way for employers to justify low wages!
