if you are strapped for cash there are plenty of ways to save money. instead of eating out all the time buy a pack of ham, turkey, cheese and whatever condiments you might need plus some bread and there you go you have at least a weeks worth of lunch if not more. buy your clothes at a thrift store or a goodwill. dont buy name brand soap and paper towels and things like that find the cheapest stuff you can it works just as well! dont go out to the movies with your friends invite them to your house and buy a pack of soft drinks and a box of microwave popcorn and rent a movie for $6- $7 dollars instead of paying $11 for a movie ticket then $3 for a med drink and $4 for a med popcorn.
no matter what you keep your self respect because once you lose it you can never get it back and you have to live with that for the rest of your life.
if u really need the money and don't care if people see your body, don't mind being considered as a prostitute, and you are aware of the types of trouble you could get into like: affiliations with gang members, people trying to rape you, then sure, for the money! Do you really want guys disrespecting you like that guy just did? If you can deal with it and handle giving up all self respect for youself then sure. But you should make sure you wont regret it. Also think about what your family and friends would think and how you will tell them about your new job.

i'm trying to eat healthy and i'm really getting sick of ordering pizza, kfc, and chinese. we sometimes order japanese and greek, but those can get pretty expensive. any good places that deliver healthy tasty food that's not too expensive?

If you are going to deliver pizza what is the best way to get paid for gas money?
My boyfriend works at a pizza place that just started delivering in May 2007. The minimum order is $15, with a $3 delivery charge. When somebody has to pay the $3 doesn't it seem more like a tip, especially if they only get $15 worth of food.
He kept telling me it goes to pay for gas. I told him that psychologically people don't understand that and they probably think that the 3 dollars can be a tip. How is it at most pizza places that deliver? I have not gotten delivery in a long time and if I do its through somebody who has already written a check.Tips and gas money for food delivery?

In our area guys/girls who deliver pizza can make up to $35,000 a year if the are on the go all the time (delivering one order after another and having a vehicle that gets superb gas mileage), if they are working for a small pizzaria, if their customer base is lots of people in a small community, if their customers are generous like earning good income, and people who are of the age who enjoy lots of pizza (sports, university, etc.) if they are catering to parties, etc. Of course, in those situations a delivery person would get a bigger tip and in those instances the company they work for does not include the tip in the total bill.
However if the tip is included in the total bill then people tend not to add (any more money) to that as they believe it's the tip and that it goes into the delivery person's paycheck or goes to pay the gas on the company truck.
I've had two kinds of situations. The one where the guy won't go away without a tip (he just hangs around), and the other where the guy walks away in a hurry with his head down. I live off TV dinners, frozen pizza and fast food but I run 50 miles a week. I have 8% body fat. It's not so much what you eat but what you do with yourself that matters the most. I'm proof. its not really home cooked but if you have any boston market restaurants in youre area they will do catering and there food is fabulous. they have homestyle dishes like meatloaf. its not really cheap but the food is excellent. i had a gathering of 85 people and it was just slightly less than $800 for there catering. but that included choice of 3 entrees and 6 different side dishes and dessert. everyone was very satisfied. you can order there catering and get pricing on the internet if you want.

Here's the thing, I lost my wallet and am completely broke/stranded/hungry at my apartment.. so my boyfriend called me and told me to order delivery and use his credit card, giving me all the information. So my question is, can I just call in, order and give them the info.. or do I actually have to have the card on me when they arrive.

Why don't you make your own organic dog food? Get some hormone/antibotic free chicken, simmer it with water and organic veggies (carrots, celery, beans, spinich, peas, cabbage (not too much cabbage though, it's gassy) and any other veggies you feel like, then add brown rice, some oatmeal maybe and a couple of eggs from vegetarian fed hens, add a little olive oil, flax seed oil, and fish oil (omega 3s) and any other supplements your vet suggests. The proper mix is 1/3 protein, 1/3 veggies, and 1/3 grain. We cook for our dogs, they are extremely healthy, and the cost is way lower than expensive organic dog foods and better quality too! My husband even eats it! Although he says it's kinda bland. Don't put onions in the mix because they are toxic to dogs. A small amount of garlic is good, but don't use too much. Don't use salt. Watch your dog scarf it up!!!

I am diabetic too and I find most diabetic food a bit misleading. In short I avoid most products that claim to be suitable for diabetics.
The best diet is simply healthy eating. A good balance between fats, proteins and carbs. Eat fresh fruit and veg. Avoid sugary products (including fruit juices made from concentrate) and exercise as much as possible.
The glycemic index of food is important, but some diabetics have such bad diet that just cutting out chocolate, biscuits and cakes is the first step.
One way of getting a chocolate hit without the side effects is to try low-cal instant chocolate drinks, check the sugar content, but there are some quite good ones available.
Far easier to advise than to implement. I know all this and still eat crisps and drive when I should walk.
Obviously, you should really speak to a professional nutritionist, I am no expert, but I hope this helps.

Okay so I've been working 7 day weeks between 2 jobs and I finally have a day off. I've been home all day just chillin, watchin movies, surfing the net, talking to friends on the phone. However, I don't have any food at home because I'm too busy to grocery shop so do any of you know of any good websites that will list all different types of food available for delivery in the Los Angeles area? What about setting up a local deli as a pickup point. You can drop of meals there and maybe the get a cut for acting as a point for your business. They could also take orders in the morning.
IE A deli by a train station - people place orders in the morning, you pick up the orders, and deliver them that afternoon. People get off of the train and drive home with dinner.
Plan nutrition information - people are oftern concerned about sodium, carbs , fiber, calories and fat content.
Contact your health department to see what you would have to do to get the show on the road. Is a home kitchen acceptable? At what volume will you need to expand - staff, facilities. How much should be set aside from each meal so that you are financially ready for each stage of development?

have to agree with kendalandsam, i found it very hard to get my kitchen okayed for such a venture, you need all sorts of health, safety, hygiene and fire regulations sorted b4 you can even think to chop your first bit of cabbage or cook your first lot of cous-cous(yummy!!). check with your local or regional health board first, that way you can get all the checks done and then go straight into business, rather than starting up and then getting fined thousand for improper hygiene or some such matter. saying all that tho, i still wish you the best of luck with your venture. happy days!!

The place that we have ordered from for the past 15 yrs, which was excellent, has had a health board issue so it would be hard to try them again. They were great because they had no MSG. I would search out a trader joes or whole foods in your area and buy fresh or frozen prepared foods (without added chemicals) and base your diet on a calorie count. What is your desired weight? Take your desired target weight and multiply it by 10. Then add 30% to that. That is the maximum number of calories you should consume everyday. Look online for a good calorie counter and write down EVERYTHING you eat!!!!!!! This diet will work but takes time (you'll lose 1-2 pounds a week). My husband used to deliver pizza and it was very discouraging if he had a night with little or no tips. He'd end up with $20 for 5-6 hours after replacing the gas he'd used in the car. I just think it's rude not to tip as these drivers are rushing your food to you as quickly as they can and it's a pretty convenient service for us isn't it? I always tip about $4-5. If I was ordering more, for say a party, I would tip more as well. When I order pizza, I budget in the tip, just as if I was going to a full service restaurant.

Why there are not too many options for Office Food Delivery in Singapore?
I'm working now in Singapore and I have observed that there are very limited number of options if I want to order something to be delivered to my office. And there are no options with free or affordable delivery for only one pax... why?.. I'm coming from Argentina where in Down Town you have plenty of delivery options and you can simply order one sandwich of 5 dollars and they would deliver that to your office....
