If Healthcare is a "right", isn't food? Shouldn't the government take over our food delivery system?

Rights are found in the "Bill of Rights'

Any 'right' that includes animals or a particular segment of the population, - I think is an afront to all our Constitutional rights.

Folks need to pay attention to the lingo. If Healthcare is a "right", isn't food? Shouldn't the government take over our food delivery system?
We have the FDA and DOT. Food and Drug administration, Department of Transportation. In many ways food delivery IS regulated for obvious safety reasons. If Healthcare is a "right", isn't food? Shouldn't the government take over our food delivery system?
Once again, you're full of sh*t. The government isn't taking over the healthcare system. You can keep your doctor and your insurance company.
Uh, they already have in many ways.If Healthcare is a "right", isn't food? Shouldn't the government take over our food delivery system?
no, the government should own either
Its called the FDA....Stand by to be crushed greedy insurance companies....LOLIf Healthcare is a "right", isn't food? Shouldn't the government take over our food delivery system?
No. The food delivery system is not failing America like the healthcare system is.

First of all, too many people do not know that Obama is not going to bring in universal healthcare. He wants to make insurance more available to all.

Second, of course universal health-cover sucks. That is why we in Western Europe have it. We think, hmm, our healthcare system sucks. I know, lets keep it. I guess that is the same with Japan and Canada as well.

FACT - the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet.

FACT - the US has higher death rates for kids aged under five than western European countries with universal health coverage.

That means that a dead American four year old would have had a better chance of life if they were born in Canada, France, Cuba, Germany, Japan etc, all of which have universal health coverage.
