I want to open up my own home and office food delivery business that I can do from home.?

Can anybody tell me where I need to go to find more information. Like do I have to go to the health department for all that. And can I do something like that from home? I just want to be able to make meals from home and then deliver them to people at work or home too. If anybody can lead me in the right direction. any business needs the proper licensing , and tax collection and payment processes....and YES a food service business is going to need to submit to the rules your local health department lays down. they vary by state and sometimes county. you may also find certain zoning restrictions.

I know in NY State, you can't do it out of your home, it has to be done in a licensed commercial kitchen, which you can rent out by the hour.. I'm just getting ready to do the same thing.I want to open up my own home and office food delivery business that I can do from home.?
