1) How often do you order from this place? Good tips equal good service in the future.



2) How far are you from the place and is it rural/suburban so that the person has to drive to deliver your order. The further out and the more time it takes, the more you should tip



3) Surprisingly, most delivery people get 15-20%...sometimes more. If they are right around the corner, and it is an easy delivery go less, but do some thinking about how much time it takes to get to your house and if you will use them in the future.

15-20% in a restaurant is fine, the waitstaff are giving you service throughout your meal, but to just bring the meal to your door, 20% tip for delivery is ridiculous! $2-3 would be fine IMO.

depends on accuracy of timing and attitude of person (i think) 2-3 for a 'ok thanks' 4-5 for 'great job'
